Vocion docs

These docs cover Vocion 5.x (main of vocion/vocion-core). Running 4.x? Read Migrating to 5.0.

What Vocion is

Vocion runs a company's AI workforce on infrastructure you own.

  • Workspaces hold the work: agents, teams, knowledge, records and rules for one team, client or business line. A workspace is authored as YAML and markdown in git and applied to Postgres.
  • Apps organize a workspace's work. Every workspace has Workforce (agents, teams, knowledge). A workspace adds Software Factory or GTM from the Marketplace. Each app has its own workspace picker on the app rail.
  • One assistant per person. Each member gets a private personal workspace with an assistant that asks the other workspaces for them. Talk is private; work lands in the workspace that owns it.
  • Earned autonomy, per action. Each action either waits for a person or runs on its own above a confidence bar. Promotion needs a record of people agreeing; some actions always wait.
  • Evidence. Every chat turn keeps its steps, tool calls, citations, tokens and cost; every run records the workspace version it ran on.
